Petro Hartman, a graphite and charcoal artist based in Somerset West, South Africa. During a challenging time in early 2022, she turned to drawing as a way to process and heal. What began as a personal outlet she now passionately pursues as a second calling (next to running an accounting firm by profession).
Her work blends realism and hyperrealism to capture quiet, emotional moments — often drawn from nature, memory, and lived experience. Through stillness, light, and fine detail, she tells stories that reflect both her inner world and the beauty around her.
